K. J. Electric seeks to hire a sales person calling specifically on engineering and capital purchasing for 70 industrial accounts in NY State (excluding NYC). Sales person’s sole function will be to identify and close capital projects.

Prospective candidates will be required to have a B.S. degree, 5 years of sales experience (as a minimum) and possess knowledge in A.C. motors, adjustable speed drives, control starting equipment, power distribution products and the application of these products in an industrial setting.

K. J. Electric an electrical products distributor, motor repair facility and panel manufacture with locations throughout Upstate New York seeks a “Product Engineer”.

Applicant must have the following skills:

In depth product and application knowledge for A.C. Adjustable Speed Drives (ASD).
Quotation preparation for ASD core units and ASD’s as incorporated into K. J. Electric manufactured panels.
Prepare rough engineering designs for ASD orders received (as described in item 2 above) prior to being submitted to the K. J. Electric panel shop for final engineering and manufacturing.
Make feature, function, benefit, advantage presentations to O.E.M. and industrial customers for ASD’s and panels in support of the K. J. Electric sales force.
