This is a hand carved cypress knee. The character is supposed to be a wizard or an old man with a long mustache and beard. The bark on this knee is intact and adds to the artistic nature of it. It is signed on the bottom by someone named "John" but I can't make out the last name. It seems to be titled "Dr. Who" which is probably in relation to the expression on the face of the wizard carved on it.
