Beautiful antique book, "The Abbott, Being a Sequel to the Monastery", by Sir Walter Scott, part of his famous Waverly Novels. Published in 1880s by John Wurtle Lovell, New York. The cover is green with beautifully detailed gold gilt. Measures approx. 7.5" x 5". has lovely illustrations.
Excellent to great vintage condition. There are some marks from a previous owner, such as their name in the front. Some dings and marks ont he cover and pages etc..
