Individually handcrafted. Each spoon character is pewter. The spoon stem and bowl is silver plated and hallmarked NE for the New England Collectors Society. Each spoon measures 4 and 1/2" in length and is stamped "NE" for New England Collectors Society First released in 1985 by subscription only. The New England Collectors Society, West Haven, CT, was a division of Reed & Barton Silversmiths, “makers of fine products since 1924.” They sold many individual and series of bells as well as spoons, prints, statues, snow globes, thimbles and other items for the collector. The New England Collectors Society became defunct in January 1998.
