Highly coveted and hard to get, fiery strawberry red GEM Rhodochrosite on manganese matrix from the N’Chwaning III Mine, Kuruman Kalarahi Manganese Field in North Cape Province, South Africa. These glassy, jewels from the famous finds of the late 1970s and early 80s only turn up in old collections. A very sparkly, high quality, aesthetic, self standing fine mineral display. The mostly terminated, scalenohedral rhodos are a glassy strawberry red, translucent with an inner glow. A rare, high quality and aesthetic specimen from the famous mineral pocket.
