Vintage 1970s Black Velvet High Rise Wide Leg Trousers and Cropped Bolero Set

This coordinated formal wear set is in superb vintage condition, late 1960s to 1970s era. Approximately a modern size small/4 (see images for measurements).
This beautiful set includes a lined, open-front, cropped bolero vest with a woven design in glistening gold and dark crimson and high-rise palazzo pants with a broad, matching waistband and wide, flowing black velvet legs. Palazzo pants have a combination of two hook and loop closures as well as a zipper in rear, and waistband is lined with white lace and smooth fabric for extra comfort and a smoother fit.

No brand tag, most probably because it was professionally tailor-made for my aunt by my grandfather’s seamstresses back when he owned a women’s formal fashion boutique.

Comes from a smoke and pet-free home. Reasonable offers encouraged.

Bolero vest has a very small, nearly unnoticeable snag on rear right shoulder (see image for detail).
