Magnificent French Black Beaded Bag with Jeweled Frame. Black caviar beads are tightly and perfectly arranged in a monochromatic black on black floral pattern; the fabric backing cannot be seen at all. This bag was handmade in France in the mid to late 1930s by “Anda”, 362 Rue St Honore, Paris.
Clutch measures 9.5w x 5”h x 3”d and the metal handle has a 5” drop.
Please review the photographs for condition and wear. Black beading appears near perfection and to be all intact; gold tone framework construction is strong and closure /clasp is tight. There are some pieces missing on the jeweled top frame enclosure but this bag still sparkles! Silk lining is spotless with no sign of wear.
