This is a pair of vintage clay Peruvian/Inca pendants. The pendants are in good vintage condition and can be strung on necklaces, or would make nice affordable additions to a Mesoamerican display.
The style of the square pendant, particularly the facial features and headdress, strongly resembles iconography of anthropomorphic deities found in ancient Peruvian cultures such as the Moche, Chimú, or Inca civilizations. The rectangular pendant depicts the classic deity Naylamp on an Incan "Tumi," a knife-like object. Naylamp was a mythic hero and founder of the Sican culture, also known as Lambayeque culture, that was begotten from a totemic bird with his same name.
