In his life, Jack Kent Cooke owned three professional franchises. From 1985-97 he was the sole owner of the Washington Redskins. Cooke passed away in 1997 and in his memory, the Redskins renamed their stadium for him. The ball has Jack Kent Cooke’s facsimile signature on the left side and a burned-in emblem of the stadium. Paul Tagliabue’s facsimile signature appears on the right side. Another special feature is that the date is marked into the football – “Inaugural Game Washington Redskins vs. Arizona Cardinals September 14, 1997.”

A historic artifact traceable to that special game in the legacy of the Redskins.

100% Authentic Team- unsure if this was game used. It is in good condition.

The case it was kept in it is pretty scratched up.
