These fun & funky earrings are an estate sale find. They are 100% VINTAGE EARRINGS circa 1965. I had the pleasure of meeting the seller, who had a story for every item I bought. She wore them often during the “hippie revolution” & the style reflects the changing times, with a bit of whimsy in the form of the spiral cutout. This style of earring was very popular in that era & is highly sought after by collectors & vintage jewelry lovers alike!
They are in spectacular shape for being 60 YEARS OLD with a shiny finish & minimal wear & tear. One earring has a slightly warped post which does not affect the way they feel in the ear. See picture #8.
Each earring weighs 8 grams for 16g of pure solid .925 sterling silver. They are just heavy enough to feel substantial while not so heavy as to pull on the earlobe. They stand nice & straight when worn & do not droop.
