The solid cast-brass backing measures 1 ½ x 1 ¼ “ (37 x 30 mm). There is one rhinestone on either side of the center stone. The rhinestones measure approximately 1.5 mm. The pin itself weighs 26 g. There are 16 brass beads on the outer edge of the brass backing. There are numerous brass beads throughout the rest of the design. (See photos) The stone measures ½ by 3/8 inches (14 x 11 mm). The brooch is used, but in great condition. The attachment pin and the clasp are in excellent condition. We estimate this brooch is from the 1940s. It is a family heirloom.
