Beautiful Antique Set of 6 "NIPPON" marked Fine Porcelain Ornately Hand Painted Dessert Plates. Cream color base with rust red. With 3 Friends of Winter, Landscape Panels, Fans, Flowers, Green Border, raised pink dots on the blossoms and full of many deorative touches with a lot of gold details. Hand painted enamels with 24K Details. I think that these are actually Kutani. A lot of nice colors and textures used very finely and delicately here for great visual interest. See the photos.
They have a blue Crown and Stars "NIPPON" marks, but it looks like it they were added later and they are not actually Nippon. However, these appear to be early to mid 1900s ornate Kutani which are highly desirable in their own right. See the photos.
Circa early to mid 1900s. Japan.
Approx. 7.4" Diameter X 0.9" Tall.
Good to Very Good previously owned antique condition. There may be some signs of age or use, but I did not see any worth noting other than some stacking
