Vtg Dooney & Bourke AWL Black/British Tan Satchel Bag Zipper Top Strap 1980s

This shoulder bag was crafted from Dooney's all weather leather in pebble black grain leather with smooth British tan trim. I believe this bag is from the 1980s. This purse features removable leather handles with a 6" drop with the original brass duck fob attached. This bag also features a detachable crossbody shoulder strap with a drop of 19" -21". There is a rear exterior slip pocket with a leather tab closure. The top zip closure opens to a fully lined interior with one full length zippered pocket and one full length slip pocket with a leather tab closure.

In very good vintage condition. There is some wear on the tan trim on the edges of the purse and on the bottom of the bag. There is patina on the handles and at one point an extra hole was added to the crossbody strap (photo 3). The leather was cleaned and conditioned. The brass fob and the brass hardware was also cleaned and polished. The Dooney and Bourke tag on the inside was cut at some point.
