Use the Rust-Oleum metal paint outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. It is optimal to use the galvanized spray paint when the temperature is between 50 to 90-degree F to ensure proper drying. It dries to touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1-2 hours, and fully dry in 24 hours. The first spray paint plastic coat can be recoated after 1 hour.
