Royal Doulton "Christmas Parcels" Home/Office Collectible Statue Decor Figurine

This is a spectacular Royal Doulton "Christmas Parcels" woman statue figurine. It was first introduced in 1978 and retired in 1982. It from the Christmas Classics collection. It was designed by William K Harper. This beautiful piece depicts a woman from the 1880's elegantly dress in her green with white bonnet and green long coat. The coat a shoulder shawl that connect to the coat with a white strap with buttons in front. She has a beautiful somber face that is incredibly detailed. She is holding a parasol umbrella. Her hair is grey and seems to be in bun. She has lots of Christmas presents near her feet and one in her hand. There is also a small green tree near the packages. The details of this piece are magnificent and look very realistic. The figurine is high glazed. It's 9" tall. The Royal Doulton name is displayed at the bottom with the item's numbers. No cracks or chips. It's in excellent condition. No original box or papers. Last known original retail price is $225.00
