This is a stunning, elegant wedding dress made from 100% ivory silk, and is fully lined. It is strapless, with a ruched elongated bodice, with a full circle skirt. This Monique Lhuillier gown was purchased for $2700 at Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan, and an additional $600 was spent on alterations made by a skilled, on-site Kleinfeld master seamstress. Gown is size 8, after all alterations were made it fits more like a size 4/6.
It was extremely comfortable to wear; it has interior supportive boning, and the seamstress added a waist stay, keeping the gown in place, no shifting, so you can enjoy your special day knowing your dress stays exactly where it is meant to. Lingerie straps were also added to secure a strapless bra inside if you choose to wear one.
For reference, I am 5’8”, weight 120 pounds. the shoes I wore had a 2.5” heel.
I wore this dress for a total of 7 hours. Afterwards it was professionally cleaned by a certified wedding gown specialist. The gown has been kept in an
