The PX249 is a highly advanced audio player designed to replace the PX154 MP3 player. It can be controlled directly or via any driver that operates on the DMX-512 standard. With the ability to cooperate with DMX devices in 4, 5, 7, or 8 channel modes, it is a versatile addition to your audio systems.

With firmware version 1.18, the SD/SDHC memory card can now hold up to 255 tracks in the *.wav format, regardless of length. The only limitation is the capacity of the memory card. The firmware also allows for the creation of up to 9 playlists, each with 85 or 255 tracks, allowing you to play up to 765 or 2295 tracks respectively.

The PX249 boasts various functions when using DMX control. You can easily play, select a particular song, choose a playlist, loop one or multiple tracks, or play songs randomly. It also features smooth volume control, bass, treble, and balance control. Additionally, you can connect an external START button.

The device's menu enables you to define its behavior when no DMX signal is present. The PX249 comes in a housing that is specifically adapted for mounting on 35mm DIN buses.
