This is a very finely knotted Handmade Turkish Kayseri rug made of wool with silk highlights. The colors are brown, blue, tan, and white. Many of the elements are surrounded with silken knots so as to emphasize them. It, like all rugs made in this fashion in or around the city of Kayseri, is all floral and is finished at each end with warp knots woven an extra measure and double tied.
This rug will be around for your grandchildren in adulthood.
