LED technology, an innovative 24" man-way support bracket, and compact design, makes this lamp an excellent lighting solution for operators working within storage tanks, railcars, and other locations where entry is through a 24" man-hole opening. ***PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO THIS HAZARDOUS LOCATION LIGHT FIXTURE*** This Class 1 Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 explosion proof light fixture provides 16,000 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 150 watts. This unit is Class 1 Division 1, Group B approved for use in environments where hydrogen is always present. The copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with advanced LED technology helps this fixture to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. This 16" diameter LED light is attached to a 24" supporting plate which allows the light fixture to hang inside the tank or railcar while the supporting plate rests on the lip of a man-way opening. A 20 amp explosion proof outlet mounted onto the aluminum tank mount allows operators to power lights and equipment without having to run additional extension cords. The nozzle mounting system provides an extremely versatile lighting option for those working in confined spaces such as rail cars, storage tanks, ship tanks and the like where entry is through a 24" man-way opening. The light is suspended 36" from the lip to lower the light source into the tank. The non sparking reel contains the unit€™s 100` of SOOW cord for convenient cord management. This explosion proof reel and LED tank light can be set up and used within the hazardous location area, making it ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired. | |||||||

This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 VAC, 50/60Hz without any need for a special ballast. The aluminum body and LED lamp give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. The LED lamp produces 16,000 lumens with a color temperature of 6000K and a color rendering index of 70, which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries.
The power receptacle on this tank cleaning light is constructed of non sparking aluminum and finished with an epoxy powder coating while the body is constructed of triple coated malleable iron for durability and added corrosion resistance. The internal receptacle plug contacts are constructed of brass and designed to maintain constant pressure along their entire length for superior connectivity. The plug receptacle is deeply recessed to prevent accidental contacts and designed for twist lock plug insertion to provide secure connections. A neoprene seal fitted inside the connector receptacle seals against the plug when inserted to provide positive sealing against water ingress. A spring loaded receptacle door provides an automatic weather-tight seal when the plug is removed. In standard installations within the hazardous location area, threaded rigid pipe is brought to the outlet and the outlet is affixes to a mounting surface. Please note, ordinary industrial and general use plugs will NOT activate the explosion proof receptacle.
The MMLP-1MLED-B-24OD-36P-20O-100HR offers excellent convenience and effectiveness with a 24" manhole mounting support bracket that eliminates the need for special mounting fixtures or cumbersome string light systems. The 100` SOOW cable is stored with the explosion proof cord reel, providing storage and cable management when not in use. The explosion proof receptacle mounted on the light assembly allows for daisy chain connections, providing operators to power lights and equipment within the hazardous location without requiring additional power sources or extension cords.
