The HAL-2X400MH-220V.50HZ hazardous area light tower carries two metal halide lamps capable of illuminating an area 50,000 square feet in size and is rated Class 1 Division 2 Groups C and D as well as wet area and marine environment suitable.
The HAL-2X400MH-220V.50HZ hazardous area light tower provides operators in hazardous locations with a versatile lighting solution for operations where easily managed large scale illumination of the workspace is required. Two 400 watt metal halide lamps provide light coverage for 50,000 square feet of work area while a Class 1 Division 2 Groups C and D approval assures reliable protection against inadvertent ignitions. This light tower can be extended from 7 to 12 feet in height and the aluminum quadpod includes wheels for easy placement of the tower.
This portable light is comprised of two adjustable hazardous location light heads mounted atop a four leg quadpod fabricated from non-sparking powder coated aluminum. This adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to twelve feet, collapsed to seven feet, and includes solid wheels allow the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed. The LED light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted vertically and locked into position.

Included with this hazardous location light tower is 100 feet of SOOW cord which combined with adjustability offered by the light head provides ample length for tower placement and optimal coverage of the workspace. The easy to collapse design of this Class 1 Division 2 work light allows Larson Electronics to avoid pallet freight charges when shipping and deliver these units via UPS next day air service, which in turn improves delivery time and reduces the cost to buyers.
