| Made in the USA The EPL-C-1X70LED-250 Explosion Proof Portable Tank Light from Larson Electronics is rated Class 1 Division 1-2 Groups C & D and Class 2 Division 1-2 and uses one 70 watt LED head to produce 5,800 lumens of light while drawing only 70 watts. The EPL-C-1X70LED-250 is a cart mounted explosion proof LED light that provides 4,000 square feet of work area coverage with 5,800 lumens of light output. It is available in 360° and 180° beam spreads. This portable LED cart light has a removable light head assembly which allows the unit to fit through the standard sized manholes or entry passages commonly found in the petrochemical and marine industries. Often simply referred to as a €œtank light€, this unit is considered universal due to its ability to be passed through any conventional manhole such as those found in petrochemical containers and ship storage tanks. The dual LED light heads on this tank light are independently adjustable and produce a brilliant flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating large enclosed areas and further adds to this units desirability as a portable lighting solution. | ||||
This portable LED light cart is comprised of one 70 watt LED light head and an adjustable, removable bracket mounted atop a solid rubber wheeled cart fabricated from non sparking aluminum. Transferring the unit through manholes consists of simply removing the light head from the cart, passing the light head and cart through the manhole separately, and then reassembling the unit once inside. Included with this LED light cart is 250 feet of SOOW cord which combined with the adjustability offered by the LED assembly provides an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights.
This unit is also multi-voltage capable and can configured to operate on 120-277 volts 50/60 Hz. Further adding to the versatility and convenience of this LED light cart are 25 peel off mylar overspray lamp protectors that ship with the unit. The protectors provide lamp protection from dirt or debris and can be removed and replaced, lessening the need for tedious lamp cleaning or replacements. This tank light is T5 temperature rated and the LED light head retain 80% of its lumen output after 60,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps. The lamp assembly can be removed and used separately from the cart for added convenience.
Note on Beam Spread: The 360° beam spread is the standard directional output and typical for flood lights. The 180° shines in only one direction. This is good for down lighting, wall packs and for not blinding oncoming traffic or pedestrians.
