It can handle spreading bulk sand, salt, or 50/50 salt/sand mixes and fits 96 in. wide dump bodies. The spreader is built to last with corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate and a hydraulic safety lockout. Its 6 in. auger with 3/8 in. flighting provides steady material flow. An auger screen is included to help break up clumps and prevent jams, and a three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleaning. Spread material up to 40 ft with the 18 in. poly spinner (available with standard, center, or driver side discharges). The spreader is also available in direct drive or 5:1 gearbox configurations. Both systems feature sealed, self-aligning 1-1/4 in. diameter bearings with grease fittings and low-speed, high-torque orbital motors.
