This Vintage Dream Mars Lighter has virtually no information to be found on the internet. What I can tell you is that it’s probably from the 50s, and has a lovely hand-painted green hibiscus plant with 2 pink and red flowers on one side, and a series of striped alternating chrome lines across the entire body.
The lighter is a stretch lighter, measuring 2.5 inches wide. The thumb sparking mechanism works smoothly and did fire a spark when I tried it. The wick is charred from previous use. Written prominently on the bottom is a serial number and “Dream Mars.”
Overall, the lighter appears to be in very good condition but could benefit from a detailed rub-down. Because of its size and the awesome hand-painted hibiscus plant with flowers, this lighter would display very nicely among your other collectible lighters.
