This listing is for a yardage of stunning hand printed mustard yellow and teal fabric. It appears to be some type of very textural cotton or cotton/linen blend. The pattern is very striking and seems to be influenced by tribal decorative arts, but I think it may have been executed by a western craftsperson during the revival of crafts movement in the 1970s.
Offered here are almost 2 yards (there is a small cutout at one end, please see the images) by 44”. This fabric would be perfect used for decorative pillows, cushions, possibly totes or some detailing in clothing. The material is in good vintage condition with some manufacturing imperfections (after all, it is a hand print. :-) ), the cutout mentioned above and a very faint duty/musty odor typical to materials not aired out for some time.
