One of a Kind Handmade Sculptured Trinket Box
Received in 1990, it precedes the collaboration of the two artists in Wild Woods Unlimited as it is today. Wild Woods Unlimited is a collaboration of Christine and Stuart Kelly, two artisans and sculptors in Atlin, BC Canada who handcraft boxes and other gifts made from their local poplar burl wood, inlaid with gold and precious stones. They have received awards for their work and sell their wares all over British Columbia, Yukon Territories and Alaska.
Hand carved artisan wood trinket or jewelry box is made from Poplar Burl and inlaid with Gold, Azurite (dark blue), Turquoise (Light blue) and Malachite (green)
Finished with danish oil and carnuba wax
Box measures 2 3/4" high, 3 1/2" across at its widest point, and nearly 3" deep
It's irregular in shape, but a stylized rectangle
Lined with black felt
