Aftermarket replacement ZIF cables designed by a fellow member of the Zune community - for the Zune community - to repair code 5 errors in Zune 80s and 120s. These cables are used in 80GB and 120GB Zune models to connect their hard drives (HDD) to the motherboard. Many Code 5 Errors are caused by damaged or failing cables, which degrade and become brittle over time. The cables we offer are brand new and should last several years with proper treatment and storage. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage.
DISCLAIMER: not all code 5 errors are caused by bad ZIF cables. In some cases, a new ZIF cable may not repair a Zune with a code 5 error (bad HDDs and motherboards can also cause a code 5). Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds in these situations.
