This citrus crate label was used by Orosi Foothill Citrus Association, Lindsay-Merryman Citrus EXC., Tulare County, California. This is my favorite label of all of the labels that I have in my collection. Image of black cat with white markings, green eyes looking at you. At the time back in the 1960's a few thousand of these were found, but were gathered up and now rarely found in any quantity.
8.75 x 12.25 inches in size.
Printed in the 1930s.
Condition: some border wear, light staining in the orange background, printing flaw.
An original, not a copy, not a computer printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find.
