19th Century French Carved and Patinated Leather Rearing Horse Sculpture This beautiful, antique horse sculpture was crafted in France circa 1880. The rearing horse figure stands on his back legs and is dressed in traditional equestrian accessories black halter,/bridle (one side of bridle is detached from halter) and saddle. The detailed leather figurine is in good condition and has a rich old patinated finish. Place it on a shelf in a horse lover’s study or library! Measures: 28″ H tail to ears and 12" rear to feet. It appear tail may have been repaired and some nicks in leather but over all amazing condition overall - see pictures
