Condition: This is an authentic Vintage Coach Tote in a beautiful medium-brown color (often called Putty, Taupe, or British Tan in vintage Coach parlance), Made in the U.S.A. This piece has the character expected of a well-loved vintage item but is in Good Vintage Condition, structurally sound, and ready for its next life.
The glove-tanned leather is soft and supple, having developed a lovely patina. There are no deep gouges or tears. The surface shows typical signs of vintage wear: minor scuffs, light surface scratches, and slight creasing consistent with age and use.
Suede: The suede interior is clean overall, but photos show visible marks/discoloration (likely ink or minor dirt transfer) especially near the zipper and in the base corners. This is typical for vintage unlined bags and does not affect the bag's use.
The original large brass zipper pull on the main compartment is missing and has been replaced with a silver safety pin
