A rare find for the serious antique doll collector!
Heinrich Handwerck 28”German Bisque Compo JointedBody Beautiful Doll c.1909-1910.
This exceptional Heinrich Handwerck doll is 28” tall, with porcelain bisque head, swivel neck, gorgeous glass open-shut eyes, and open mouth with teeth. Her ears are pierced, and she has a blonde/light brown mohair wig.
This doll probably dates to 1909 or 1910, although Handwerck made bisque dolls from the late 1800s.
There is a small flaw on the right arm (pictured) and a lit
of the lace on a sleeve is loose and could be easily
fixed.
