Vintage Limoges Haviland Limouze Porcelain Lady and the Unicorn La Dame Plate

Vintage Haviland Limouze porcelain Lady and the Unicorn La Dame a La Licorne collectors plate, third in the series of six with the lady demonstrating allegories of the five senses, this one representing the sense of sound, produced in 1979… Like new, in its original box… The illustration is from the famous medieval tapestries series showing the lady in an elaborate gown of rust red brocade with dark blue sleeves standing and playing a keyboard instrument with heart shaped pipes atop a gorgeous textile, accompanied by her handmaiden, the unicorn and lion listening to the music… They are in a dark blue field filled with flowers and small animals, which are also listening… Stylized fruit trees and flags with the ladies crest are to either side, all against a medieval orange red background with more flowers and listening animals… The tenants Plate has a gold rim with a gold band around the foot… The back has a notation in black La Dame a La Concorde.
