Vintage, original Lobby Card (LC) for 1949 Paramount Pictures romantic drama “The Heiress” directed by the legendary William Wyler (nominated for Oscar’s Best Director a record 12 times, winning 3) & starring Olivia de Havilland (won Best Actress Oscar for role), Montgomery Clift, Miriam Hopkins & Ralph Richardson (nominated for Best Supporting Actor).
An unrestored & extremely well maintained Title Lobby Card (LC) (11”x14”) in very fine condition from the original theatrical release of the 1949 film “The Heiress”. The LC features a pivotal scene between its 2 stars. It has very slight wear & tear. Otherwise this LC is in absolutely terrific condition with excellent color & design & displays extremely well. The film was adapted from a 1947 stage play which was adapted from Henry James‘ 1880 novel “Washington Square”. The plot concerns a naive young woman who falls in love with a handsome young man despite the objections of her emotionally abusive father.
