Excellent used condition - spine is strong, very light corner wear, gutters in mint condition. Small penned dedication in front end papers. No other inside markings or wear. Unbelievable condition given its age.
History - This was first published in the UK on September 2, 1976, three years after Tolkien's death. The stories are told in the form of letters, written and illustrated by Tolkien between 1920 and 1942 for his children, from "Father Christmas". They tell of the adventures and misadventures of Father Christmas and his helpers.
