Selling my Vintage Torneau alarm watch 17 Jewel manual wind gold filled watch. I don’t know the caliber but it’s running great and the alarm is loud. The watch is vintage I’m guessing late 1950’s-early 60’s. It has some scratches and scuffs which is normal for a watch this old. Please ask me questions and I will answer them. Alarm watch complications are very awesome to collect and they have their place in horological history. Torneau History: In 1900, the Tourneau family established a watch selling business in the Russian Empire, fleeing to Paris after the Revolution before emigrating to New York City in 1924. The Tourneau brothers opened a small dressmaking shop, with a watch counter, in the Berkshire Place Hotel.
