Vintage Henkel & Grosse For Dior Smoky Quartz & Molded Cranberry Glass Bracelet

This is a gorgeous bracelet with an interesting history. In the 1950s Henkel & Grosse contracted with Dior to make jewelry for them for the next 50 years. There is a particular style of jewelry that is unsigned that people attribute to H&G for Dior and this happens to be one of those pieces.

The bracelet is just stunning!. The smoky quartz baguettes are large and chunky. The cranberry glass is molded with a fine gold colored floral pattern. Originally each of the cranberry glass pieces had three pearls but when I received the bracelet there were bright golden topaz rhinestones instead. Some of the other bracelets for sale like this don’t have any stones or pearls at all. After studying other bracelets like this that have sold or are for sale I have noticed the links have turned over so the seam is on the top instead of the bottom.
