Original Japanese folk 7-inch from Victor, catalog MV-2111 (VEY-2549). Features traditional regional songs “Akita Obako” and “Akita Oiwake” from the Akita prefecture, performed with vocals and shamisen accompaniment. Released late 1970s, part of Victor’s regional Min’yō series.
Vinyl is clean with only minor surface handling visible under strong light. Orange Victor labels with folk series picture sleeve showing snowy rural scene and villagers inside hut. Includes lyric and dance instruction insert, making this a complete package.
Essential for collectors of Japanese min’yō, enka, Victor folk series, and 45rpm Japanese vinyl.
