US Navy enlisted dress/service cap
Dating to late World War II to possibly early Cold War Era (1940s-1950s)
Features original USN fouled anchor insignia, black band and black patent leather visor, with a khaki/cream service crown typical of mid century Navy issue.
Constructed with genuine leather sweatband featuring zig-zag edge stitching, a known indicator of earlier military manufacture.
Interior retains original ventilation perforations and period materials.
Size stamped "7"
This cap shows honest service wear consistent with age, including light discoloration to the crown, scuffing to the visor, and interior sweat lining a few spots on top (PHOTOS) Leather remains intact and supple - no maker label visible which is not uncommon for service-issued caps of this era
