1930s Remler “White House” Radio – San Francisco Made
A true West Coast treasure. This handsome Remler radio was crafted in San Francisco around 1937 and sold under “The White House” department store name — a private-label partnership you rarely see today.
The cabinet is solid wood with elegant Deco styling, original Bakelite knobs, and the classic woven grille cloth. The dial proudly reads REMLER and includes the old “Police” band up to 1700 kHz — a hallmark of pre-war design when the airwaves were still wide open.
This one has lived an honest life — some scuffs and wear from the decades, but all original and full of character. A great display piece for a vintage-radio collector or anyone who loves authentic 1930s craftsmanship.
