This vintage A. Santini Pietà sculpture depicts Mary cradling the body of Jesus, a classic and deeply moving religious scene rooted in Italian Renaissance tradition. The figure is rendered in a creamy ivory tone and mounted on a substantial black and white veined marble base. The piece is marked "A. Santini" and "Made in Italy," consistent with Santini's mid- to late-20th-century production.
Condition is very good overall with one small chip to a finger, visible upon close inspection (see photos). No other cracks or repairs noted.
