Vintage color wheel for mid-century modern aluminum or flocked Christmas tree. This rotating color wheel is a Color-tone No. 775 Electric Roto-Wheel made in the USA by Renown Mfg. Co in the 1950's. It has a gold plastic housing which holds a 60-watt LED bulb (for bright colors and minimal heat damage) attached to an adjustable plastic base (loosen a wingnut underneath the base to adjust up/down or side/side. The removeable color wheel measures about 10" in diameter and has a matching gold plastic rim. The curved color inserts are molded plastic. This unit has the original electric motor which sometimes sticks when it is first turned on but is easily started by applying light clockwise pressure to the wingnut holding the color wheel to the motor shaft. The original box measures 12" x 10" x 9". Overall, the color wheel is in good used vintage condition.
