RARE VINTAGE 1950s/1960s Black Boralba Faux Fur Coat, Custom Made by ALBRECHTS FURS.
This is a beautiful piece of mid-century fashion history. Albrecht Furs of St. Paul was one of the first in the US to manufacture coats using Borgana/Boralba, a revolutionary, plush, and warm faux fur fabric known for its exceptional quality and luxurious feel--often called the "Teddy Bear" coat.
Style: Classic Old Hollywood style with a full body, 3/4 sleeves, and a plush collar. Perfect for evening wear or a vintage look.
Fabric: Authentic Boralba/Borgana plush pile fabric (high-quality vintage faux fur).
Lining: Fully lined in a dark satin fabric
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Lining is clean with 2 small repairs needed, as seen in pictures. Faux fur is soft and plush with no signs of matting or balding.
