Black velvet/fabric inlay with rhinestone borders is an uncommon and documented Hobé design format from the late 1940s–early 1950s. Clasp shows the early block-letter "Hobé" stamp, not the later script version. THOUGH VERY RARE, HOBE made velvet "ribbons" adorned with rhinestone appliqués (late 40s). Demi-parure MCM jewelry set.
