This wooden pen was handcrafted with care by my father, who has been selling lumber (specializing in Zelkova) for many years, after learning in a workshop as a hobby. This product is made with beautiful wood grain of domestic natural wood selected by a wood expert and finished with genuine Urushi lacquer by a craft artisan. The appeal of the pen is that the luster and depth of the Urushi lacquer will increase with age as you use it. Urushi lacquer is resistant to scratches, sweat, and water, and has excellent water resistance.
I am still learning about writing instruments, but I choose the wood (grain) with certainty.
