Production of the 144 ended nearly 20 years ago, so a 144 in good condition like this one, without cracks, chips, or engraved names, is rare.

The successor model, the 145, has a screw-on cap, but this one has a snap-on cap, which is a major feature.

The nib width is M (Medium).
It's a well-balanced nib width, neither too thick nor too thin.
