This vintage Disney animator Al Stetter oil painting measures 8x10"/ original frame 16x18" with original linen matt. Created in the 1960-70s in the United States, this landscape painting on canvas is an original piece signed by Al Stettler. The artwork reflects Americana culture and showcases intricate details in a multi-color palette, making it a unique addition to any art collection.
Al Setter grewup near Gettysburg, PA. His art career began with a correspondence course from the International Correspondence School of Cartooning. He was an animator on every Disney feature, except "Snow White". There was a two year break when he animated the "Beanie" series. Retired 1970’s.
Done with palette knife technique. Color’s are bright and crisp.
Al Stetter's signature is in the lower left corner. He was left handed, so he always signed in the lower left corner. Excellent used vintage condition.
