Both works of art are drawn by artist Adrian Maurice Daintrey (1902-1988) a landscape and portrait artist in mid to late century Britain. The pieces have been beautifully framed by Sally Hunter Fine Art Limited. The works had been sold to Professor James Oldham in August of 1985. The frames are different colors that compliment each other perfectly. The Mantlepiece and The Corner of the Staircase were drawn at The Royal Thames Yacht Club in 1960. The Mantle piece is brown ink on paper and The Corner of the Staircase is ink and watercolor on paper. Please contact me if you have questions.
