Japanese Man Carrying Water Buckets With a Yolk Figurine In Unglazed Porcelain

Rare Find: This item is hard to come by. This 13.5 inch tall vintage ceramic figurine depicts an elderly Japanese man carrying a pair of buckets with a yoke on his shoulder. The porcelain is unglazed ceramic, a style called Hakata Uradaki. The bottom of the figurine has a sticker that says Made in Japan. The piece is done in soft buttery yellow (shirt), Blue (pants) and green (base). Since the sticker says Made in Japan. It dates this piece to the 1950s. Figurine is in great vintage condition. No damage at all. I see only a few scratches on one of the two water buckets. See my pictures with the pen. I am not positive, but do think that the two buckets should match and didn't see the difference until after I bought the piece. One is slightly darker than the other. A wonderful mid century Asian piece of Hakata pottery. Non smoking pet free home.
