For sale is a 1927 St. Louis Cardinals letterhead Branch Rickey VP signed typed letter to J B Sheridan of the Sporting News with correspondence from Mr. Sheridan. It's a fascinating letter with Mr. Rickey talking about developing his players from the minors instead of getting players from other Major League teams. The funny thing is that the St. Louis Cardinals just won the 1926 World Series beating the New York Yankees. He sounds frustrated in this letter.
