For sale is an Apollo 11 "The Eagle Has Landed" VIP Commemorative Medallion token coin. This medallion contains metal which was aboard the Apollo 11 spacecraft during its historic flight. These medallions were issued in 1969 to commemorate the historic first Moon landing mission on July 20, 1969. The front of the medallion features an artistic representation of an astronaut with an American flag standing on the lunar surface, along with the words "THE EAGLE HAS LANDED, JULY 20, 1969" inscribed around the rim. The design was intended to be symbolic of the collaborative effort of the mission. This is a perfect gift for any Appollo 11 fan.
