vintage 1950s cotton summer dress wedding with matching jacket UK 6 8

This is an original 1950s dress with its own beautiful matching jacket, perfect for Spring or Summer weddings and events! Label: Gershon model (inner label) Cotton fabric It has beautiful flower print throughout, with a full skirt and a metal zipper. It is in very good condition with no holes, stains or tears that I can see. The hem has been let down, but doesn't detract from its beauty. It would look stunning with a petticoat underneath (not included in the sale). The dress size is UK 8 (possibly a UK 6) but please refer to measurements below as vintage sizing tend to run small. ⭐Measurements⭐ Bust: 36 inches total Waist: 26 inches Top of the shoulders to hem 42 inches (could be less once it’s hemmed) The jacket would best suit a figure of UK 6 to UK 8. The condition is fantastic for vintage but as with all vintage items, please expect a few flaws as it is preloved. *Please measure against your own exact measurements as vintage sizes tend to run small.* Please note that the photographs were taken in natural light- there may be slight variations of colour and on your screen.
